NetSuite SIG meetings effective
At the beginning of a new calendar year many exchange best (health) wishes. My OBUG heart beats faster than before and the prospect for a healthy and flourishing user community is imminent, as is the current state of the daffodil in mother’s nature. The first NetSuite SIG meetings for the Benelux region are published and will be effectuated soon: the 19th of January in Kontich and the 6th of February in Utrecht. I am keen to meet new and current users of Oracle products, especially those who work with NetSuite. The first publication of a NetSuite user organization, Dynappco, has been fulfilled. Preparations for a larger event, the 14th of June, are underway.

Oracle has been working on a phased acquisition of NetSuite for some time. This will be made official on 1 June 2018 – which means it is high time this ERP program was given its own place within OBUG. Johan Pintens will be doing just that very soon. He is the managing partner of the Belgian firm Dynappco (part of the Cronos Group), and on January 19 he will be launching the first NetSuite SIG gathering, to be held at Dynappco in Kontich (just south of Antwerp). The larger annual event AppsConnected18 organised by OBUG will be held on 14 June 2018 and NetSuite will be in the spotlight there, too.
SIG NetSuite valt in goede aarde
De eerste SIG NetSuite, die 19 januari bij Dynappco in Kontich werd georganiseerd, is bij de deelnemers in zeer goede aarde gevallen. De eerste bijeenkomst voor eindgebruikers van NetSuite liep vooruit op de officiële overname van NetSuite door Oracle op 1 juni a.s. Managing partner Johan Pintens van Dynappco en Oracle lieten een gezelschap van de OBUG alvast een kijkje in de keuken geven.
